Risk assessments - Idea and target

Risk assessment of a technical system is a systematic usage of available information to identify risk sources, and to judge the risk for individuals or a group, property, or the external or internal environment.

 Risk is here used to quantify a weighed size of probability and consequence. "Security analysis" is often used with the same meaning.
